2017-2018 CAD/Design/Drafting Competition

This year’s project was to design a “Tiny House” capable of travel, while incorporating common household essentials and adding in specialized design features that were both important to the student and unique to their house design. In addition, the students had to integrate green products and design elements to further minimize their home’s impact on the environment. Each student had to submit a site plan, roof plan, floor plan, exterior elevations, building and wall sections, and an electrical plan of their design. Each drawing was judged based on line weights and text, presentation, creativity, and ability to meet the design requirements.

This year’s winners are:

1st Place – Mathias Sovine
2nd Place – Amanda Banic

3rd Place – Militcia Denee
